Thursday night, Spindles were handed their second loss of the season to Deathwish.
With temperatures in the 90s, the boys were gearing up for a hot one at Nott Road.
The energy was high in the beginning of the match, with Spindles opening the scoring from an Ian Maguire throw-in, off the keeper's hands for an own goal, 12'.
Shortly after, a lazy play in the back gave Deathwish one right back leveling the match at 1 right before the half.
Like the last time the Spins met Deathwish, things went downhill in the second half.
Deathwish took the lead 5 minutes in and scored 2 more in the second half, holding off Spindles for a final score of 4-1.
Last night's loss is the Spins second of the season, both of which came from 3rd place Deathwish.
Spindles will look to use their game in hand and get back into first place with a win on Sunday afternoon against Vassi Realty.
