Kicking of 25’ at ACP

On Sunday, the Spins kicked off the 2025 campaign with our first private session of year.

And it wouldn’t be an afternoon for Spindles at ACP without some cold weather.

But despite the temperature, 35 players showed out to compete for the remaining roster spots available.

Ahead of the session, Spindles had roughly half of the roster decided but needed to see some new faces on the field who would be looking to strengthen the squad.

Every year, Spindles sets a clean slate for its roster. Meaning no spots are guaranteed into the following seasons. So the purpose of this session was to figure out what players would fit well into our needs for 2025.

Spindles looks for players who are looking to contribute both on and off the pitch. The club is more than just a men’s team. So everything about a person is considered when inviting them to the squad.

A high quality, 2 hours of scrimmaging gave us a lot to think about and consider as we finalize our selections.

With the CDSL schedule arriving soon, a new season is fully underway.
