Wrapping Up the Soccer Tots

Saturday, October 5 marked the end of the 2024 Cohoes Soccer Tots Season.

Hosted by Cohoes Recreational Soccer Group, the Soccer Tots (ages 4-6) were fully planned and managed by Spindles United FC this year.

Our goal this season was to bring structure and stability to the tots program by following a detailed plan to ensure success at every session.

We are pleased to hear all the positive reactions of the tots parents.

Soccer Tots kicked off on Saturday, September 7 and ran every Saturday morning and Tuesday night until October 5.

Thanks to fortunate weather, all 9, hour long sessions were completed.

Being able to teach our communities youth the game of football, while also taking them off their parents hands for an hour each day has been a privilege.

Thank you to Brian Wallingford and the Cohoes Recreational Soccer board for their trust in Spindles this year.

And thank you to our Russell Sage College volunteers of the RSC 301: Innovation to Impact class who came out every session to fulfill their hours and get involved in the club and community.
