After a delayed start due to thunderstorms, Thursday night's Matchweek 10 against Backheel FC finally got underway.

The Spins came out strong, but an early mistake on a goalkick led to a Backheel 1v1 with the keeper and opening the scoring at 1-0, 10'.

The rest of the half was a battle between both sides. More rain came down creating an even wetter surface..

The score was 1-0 Backheel at the break, leaving the Spins hungry to get back out there.

However, 8 minutes into the second half saw another Backheel goal after a scramble in the box led to a shot at the top of the 18. 2-0.

The rest of the match the Spins dominated possession and chances.

Guys gave everything they had out on the pitch, but in the end the final score was 2-0 Backheel, the Spins 3rd loss in a row.

This loss means Spindles finish the season in an unofficial 3rd place and await the final playoff seedings for next week.
